The Passo di Valparola at 2,192m connects the Alta Badia valley with Cortina d'Ampezzo through a dramatic Dolomite landscape. The ruins of Fort Tre Sassi (WWI) at the summit add historic interest to an already spectacular setting among the pale limestone peaks.
