The Passo Costalunga (Karer Pass) at 1,752m connects Bolzano's Val d'Ega with the Val di Fassa, passing the gorgeous Carezza lake (Lago di Carezza) — a turquoise alpine lake with a perfect reflection of the Latemar massif. One of the most photographed lakes in the Alps.
