The Col Agnel (Colle dell'Agnello) at 2,744m is the third highest Asphalt pass in the Alps, straddling the French-Italian border between the Queyras valley and the Valle Varaita. The summit plateau offers panoramic views of the Cottian Alps, and the remote, barren landscape has an end-of-the-world quality.
