The Port de Boucharo at 2,270m above Gavarnie is a high Pyrenean pass near the UNESCO-listed Cirque de Gavarnie — one of the world's most spectacular amphitheatres of rock and waterfall. The road provides direct access to this natural wonder from the French side.
