The Nockalmstraße in Carinthia is a toll mountain road that winds 35 km and 52 switchbacks through an impressive mountain landscape. It connects Innerkrems with Ebene Reichenau and offers unique views, cozy huts, nature trails and a museum of alpine agriculture. The road is open from May to October and is famous for its so-called "Reidn" - sharp switchbacks, which have been named after local flowers since 2006. A special attraction is the Elisabethweg, a hiking trail to the Schiestelscharte.
