The Timmelsjoch (Passo del Rombo) at 2,509m straddles the Austrian-Italian border and is one of the highest Asphalt border crossings in the Alps. A toll road on both sides, it offers spectacular remote high-alpine scenery with little traffic compared to its famous neighbours.
